Nature, Post-Nature was a duo exhibition with Ren Gregorcic at Rubicon ARI in Melbourne, which investigated the idea of the ‘post-natural’ landscape, an overarching concept that was utilised to describe sites of urban nature, in which human-made and natural infrastructures commingle and overlap. Running counter to traditional notions of ‘nature’, these landscapes are commonly relegated to the margins of vision and attention. With an emphasis on elemental phenomena, built and natural forms and the persistence of flora and fauna in our ever-restless urban spaces, Nature, Post-Nature explored the convergence of human and more-than-human narratives in the post-natural landscape, through moving image and sculptural installation.

Nature, Post-Nature took place from 20 March-6 April, 2019.
