<image:caption>A series of moving image works that explore a temporal engagement with the outskirts of cities as sites for performance. These projects are framed by an ongoing interest in the invisible forces, tensions and elemental phenomena that lie at the edge of our senses.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Projects - COLLAGES</image:title>
<image:caption>These collages draw on ideas of contingency and re-imagining what images are. Rather than utlising an existing image for its surface value alone, the collages stem from teasing out something behind the image, something that is suffused with a sense of the otherworldly. The collages bare traces of the various cycles each image has moved through, incorporating the way in which haptic, textural interventions are interpreted by a digital scan process.</image:caption>

<image:caption>How does the sun set on a city? A large video projection onto the Australian Ballet Centre at dusk invokes an echo of the sun as it sets, momentarily offering a connection to the horizon line and a natural phenomenon otherwise largely obscured from view inside the built environment. A site-specific installation, Sun for a Hidden Horizon took place in September 2018 as part of Critical Mass at Testing Grounds, during Melbourne Fringe. <image:caption>NATURE, POST-NATURE is an independent publication by artists Ren Gregorcic and Jessye Wdowin-McGregor, created in collaboration with graphic designer Kim Mumm Hansen. The publication extends upon an exhibition of the same name held in Melbourne in 2019, drawing on the rich ecological and creative resonances of ‘post-natural’ landscapes, where a distinct overlap between suburban development, industry and wilderness occurs.
